Dear Lord! What will the people of Wallasey think about Princess Leah's hopes of pocketing two sets of allowances courtesy of the taxpayer? Not only does she want to be be paid for being their MP but it seems she also wants to claim local councillors allowances at the same time!
While other parliamentary candidates, who are also local councillors, have announced their intentions to stand down from their council seats to focus on the general election campaign (especially as both elections are widely expected to take place on the same day), Princess Leah so far has not!
My congregation has expressed concern about Princess Leah's intentions. Surely its got be one or the other? Does she really expect the local electorate to believe that she is uniquely suited to run for local MP and Councillor at the same time and presumably do both jobs? Especially after she made great play in her Wirral Globe advert of not taking on "any second jobs." Or is she really motivated by the potential financial rewards on offer?
Is this the same woman who belongs to the same Tory Party who were forced to apologise to local MP Angela Eagle for telling fibs about her expenses?! The cheek!
ReplyDeleteThis is just plain greedy! She should stand down from her council seat immediately.
ReplyDeleteGreedy indeed.
ReplyDeleteNothing short of hypocrital - but then thats the tories all over
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect from a lady 'what lunches'
ReplyDeleteand carries designer handbags.Maybe she is trying to emulate Samantha Cameron! Now there's a lady who pays big bucks for her bags!!!
Dear anonymous,
ReplyDeleteYes I've heard about Princess Leah's designer handbag fetish. Maybe that's why she wants two sets of allowances to fund her extravagant lifestyle?
Princess Leah will most certainly be twice a loser - and decidedly so!
ReplyDeleteMost sane normal people in Wirral, know you can not serve two masters, you either serve the Political Party of your choice. Or you serve the electorate who placed you in power.
ReplyDeleteParty Politics has no place in Local Government we should stamp it out.
And the first Political Party to ensure that MPs get paid the correct pay for the Job is a winner.
And that pay + expenses is far far less than they get now for rubber stamping European rules and regulations.
Sister Mary do you think that is a wig she is wearing? It looks like it could have been alive at some point; does she support hunting by any chance?
ReplyDeleteHair extensions I think darling
ReplyDeletePrincess Leah must be sweating by now. It becomes increasingly certain that the local and the General elections will be on the same day. What will she do? Throw all her dice on the General table or try and fight both. Dear dear you have to be sorry for her!!!
ReplyDeleteGo on Leah- put us out of our misery- but think- you risk taking an extra allowance should you win- and you have declared you won't do that.
Such a choice- but then a lady with a razor sharp mind and tongue will surely work it out. But Sister Lewis can I guess, write your scropts- he does that already methinks judging by the similarity in style for all the tory blogs- excepts for Homers!!
