First Princess Leah tried to gag Labour on fox hunting. Now news has reached me that Tory Landlord Karen Hayes has done the same. This time, I understand, Hayes issued a solicitors letter to Labour election agents demanding they did not repeat the Daily Post story about the tenant who was left living in squalid conditions. If Labour did they would face the consequences....
I'm not at all surprised that Hayes took this action. Why would you want people to know how cold hearted you are by allowing a tenant and her baby daughter to live in a property riddled with damp and dirt? But as my fellow sisters are saying - let God be her judge.
It seems the Tory way of responding to anything they disagree with is by issuing threatening legal letters. If that's the case then I'm to believe there will be plenty more gag attempts from the Tories between now and polling day. One story in particular that the Tories will be desperate to keep a lid on...
Forgive me sister, but if these comments that the Tories keep trying to gag are statement of fact then how can they keep issuing these idle threats?
ReplyDelete''If Labour repeat the article printed in the Daily post they would face the consequences....''
What planet is this woman living on. If she investing her time & money it cost to issue this threat into her squalid housing then maybe these stories would not hit the papers, tenants would have decent housing & Labour would not have the ammunition to show her & the Tories up for what they are, thieving liars. Some things never change with the Tories steal from the poor to line the pockets of the rich.
They seem to be trying to gag the ones that can do most damage, their opponents.
ReplyDeleteIts not so easy or cheap to gag the press & impossible to gag public opinion when the facts are out there. Bring it on sis, the people of Wallasey need to know more of the truth about what the Tories are truly like.
