Has Homer broken the law?

My dear congregation, forgive me for not posting for a while but I've been busy praying for the misguided soul of Homer Homophobe. The long hours of prayer however seem to have failed after hearing that Homer could be in more trouble with Merseyside Police. Not with the Hate Crimes Unit (I hear that one is still being investigated) but for distributing letters to households in Seacombe about how he is a 'victim' of a 'Labour smear' following his vicious and bigoted comments on Facebook about gay people.

Homer's letter should have contained an address for him and where it was printed but it didn't - meaning that he could be in breach of Section 143 of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000. Dear me Homer! Whatever will be next...

  1. That's awful, how very foolish. Some people just have it coming to them. C'est la vie.

  2. Oh dear Sister Mary- good to have you back. It would also seem that Homer has developed a liking for Liverpool FC- or at least his long suffering wife has. He was spotted- or somebody looking remarkably like him- at the Liverpool ground last Monday. Guess what he missed- yes you got it - a full council meeting.

  3. In a word yes he has. How much longer is Sister Lewis going to tolerate Homers behaviour. Saw Mrs Homer yesterday_ she looks very well thank God- must have been all that TLC Homer has been pouring onto her good self
