Has Homer broken the law?

My dear congregation, forgive me for not posting for a while but I've been busy praying for the misguided soul of Homer Homophobe. The long hours of prayer however seem to have failed after hearing that Homer could be in more trouble with Merseyside Police. Not with the Hate Crimes Unit (I hear that one is still being investigated) but for distributing letters to households in Seacombe about how he is a 'victim' of a 'Labour smear' following his vicious and bigoted comments on Facebook about gay people.

Homer's letter should have contained an address for him and where it was printed but it didn't - meaning that he could be in breach of Section 143 of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000. Dear me Homer! Whatever will be next...

Labour winning the 'poster war'

Looks like Labour in Wallasey are wining the 'poster war'. I've not seen a single Tory poster up on my travels around the constituency. Meanwhile, Labour have a strong display all across the area. Maybe local people just don't want to be associated with a losing campaign or debt collectors or bigots...

Homer Homophobe continues to shame Tories

Leading Liverpool Echo columnist, Joe Riley, yesterday continued the attack on Homer Homophobe. Riley said that the Tory "joker" is heading for "political no man's land" and accused him of believing the "rest of us to be born yesterday" following his lame excuse for his anti-gay comments.

Princess Leah continues to be silent on the matter.

Is Princess Leah too chicken to debate with Angela Eagle?

News from the Tory camp has reached me that Princess Leah is running scared of having a public debate with Labour's Angela Eagle during the election campaign. The pair went head to head in 2005 but this time the Princess is going out of her way to avoid it (well, she was humiliated last time). Instead, I understand, the Princess prefers to have a one on one question and answer session with members of Wirral Churches Together - with questions given to her ONE WEEK in advance! Unfortunately, the Q&A, scheduled to take place this evening had to be cancelled as Angela Eagle was needed in London for the 'wash up' of Parliament. But surely the Princess still could have taken part?

Anyway, I'm pleased that Wirral Churches Together are trying to re-arrange the event to take place before 6 May. Maybe this time, Princess Leah will share a platform with candidates from other parties and debate the issues alternatively another debate maybe arranged but will the Princess turn up....

Meanwhile, I hear Angela Eagle is STILL waiting for a reply from Princess Leah and David Cameron following her letter to them on Homer Homophobe!

I'll join the Lib Dems says Homer!

Tory Fat Controller, Chris Blakeley, got the shock of his life this morning when Homer Homophobe told him that he planned to "join the Lib Dems".

I hear that the Fat Controller, called his mate Homer (who was at Arrowe Park Hospital) to offer his support following his suspension from the Tory Party after his bigoted rant about gay people on Facebook. Homer was grateful to get the call (the only one he's had from any of his former Tory councillor colleagues) but told The Fat Controller that if expelled he would "join the Lib Dems".

It seems Homer is preparing for his inevitable expulsion from the "changed" Tory Party but according to my Lib Dem sources, he's got no chance of joining their group because they too were outraged by his anti-gay remarks! One Lib Dem even suggested "he'd be better of in the BNP"!

Meanwhile, the wait goes on for Princess Leah's response...

Will Princess Leah stand by Homer?

Princess Leah has gone to ground since her council colleague Denis 'Homer Simpson' Knowles was suspended by the Tories following his shockingly homophobic Facebook outburst. She's not given any comment to the press and sources tell me she that she is refusing to speak to Homer and has even banned him from leafleting or canvassing on her behalf.

People are rightly asking questions about Princess Leah's position on this issue and want to know if she agrees with the comment made by him or if she is prepared to condemn him? Even the few remaining friends Denis has left are commenting (on his public Facebook wall) about the Princess' silence.

"Leah needs to get her act together and stand by you like everyone else has", said Homer fan, Thomas Mannion last night! Others are also asking about Leah's position after all it was only a few months ago that Homer was her new best friend, when she welcomed him with open arms to the Tory Party!

Leah's campaign goes from bad to worse!

Homer suspended by Tories for homophobic rant!

Denis Knowles was sensationally suspended from the Tory Party today following a homophobic outburst on Facebook. The Councillor, known for his resemblance of Homer Simpson, launched a bigoted attack on members of Labour's LGBT group describing them as "strange and limp wristed". Within hours local Tory leader Jeff Green suspended him from the Tory group on Wirral MBC and pressure is now mounting on Tory leader David Cameron to expel him from his Party altogether. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/8595606.stm

Knowles' disgraceful remarks have caused great embarrassment for the Tory leader who, only last week, was criticised for an awkward performance during a Channel 4 News/ Gay Times interview on equality.

It is thought that Knowles went into hiding today - switching off his mobile phone and refusing to speak to journalists. Knowles colleague, Princess Leah, was also unavailable for comment and left an angry Sister Lewis to issue a statement to the waiting media.

The whole issue now threatens to dog the Tory election campaign unless Cameron takes further action.

I'll keep you posted readers!
